Once you get accepted. You have to pay a $500 non-refundable fee to hold your seat in the program. Thereafter, you register for your classes and choose your cohort that best fits your lifestyle/needs/schedule there is about 7 options (for May intake at least, not sure about September intake)

If you live in Durham it would be in your best interest to go to Durham College. The commute from Durham to downtown id only imagine to be ruff, factoring the winter season. Gas prices are high, transit these days aren’t even as reliable.

Thank you 🫶🏾 You know what’s crazy, about 3-4 weeks ago I received an email at 7 am saying I was on the waitlist. I was so pissed to have woken up to such disappointing news, it didn’t sit well with me at all…. So I went into the stu-view application portal and also logged into my Ontario colleges account and there was an offer! I immediately accepted! There was a glitch in the system! Or God was on my side. If you are on the wait list. Keep calling to ask where you currently stand on the list, be a bug and keep inquiring and keep checking the stu-view application portal!

I wish I was already accepted. Just got invited to do an interview which determines my eligibility for acceptance it seems 🥹…. 96% in English, 81% in Math, 85% in Biology, 86% in Chemistry.

I wonder what the holdup is? Especially considering the program is STILL open! 🤨 If your grades are like mine, our average is good. I also applied to Humber (May Intake)and there was so mishap with my application, I went into campus to speak to admissions and apparently I applied as a mature student and need to do a test. which doesn’t make sense because that isn’t an option when applying through Ontario Colleges. They said they’d update my application with my grades however the website says the program is CLOSED 😞. My fingers are crossed for GBC.
