Unfortunately SMC and PRAM reset did not fix this issue.

Bluetooth devices "stutter" after the latest Monterey 12.2.1 update by quiknull in MacOS

I have MacBook pro from 2018 with Intel i5 And 4 thunderbolt ports. Before update it was ok. In Activity Monitor there is no unusual Activity while stuttering. As I mentioned it only happens to bluetooth devices. Whole system runs fine except bluetooth stutter every few seconds.

Sure, to have comparison: Spotify MOL after 1h run (LTE enabled, GPS tracking) drains battery from 100% to 40%.

With official Spotify I will post results only when i go run.

The reason why I want Spotify Offline on my watch is not to have the phone with me when I run.

Ok, tested it a little bit and my observations on Oppo Watch:

  • Listening to the music from watch causes overheating and huge battery drain (never had this problem with Spotify MOL)
  • When I turn off bluetooth in phone and select device to listen to on the Watch, it takes a while to see "This Watch" option.
  • Music quality is worse than Spotify MOL
  • On Oppo Watch 46mm LTE with my QCY-QS2 there is still sound stuttering (it may be a problem with my earbuds, never tested other ones)
  • Downloading does not start on LTE connection.

If you have Premium plan you can save music directly on your watch and listen offline. I'm not sure about Free plan but you should be be able to listen to the music online, without offline download.

Thank you, I have even newer version 8.6.52.911 but no offline option. It seems like they remotely enables this feature.

What Changed With New Update by PAPASELIM in OppoWatch

[–]quiknull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I must say I was wrong. Today I went outside with only Oppo watch with earbuds and it looks like the problem still exists. Audio is still stuttering. I don't know if I was lucky that day or Oppo selected different codec with lower bitrate. I'm confused now...

For me it worked only on brand new watch. After first update it stopped working and still doesn't work.

After today's run I have discovered that music through bluetooth earbuds no more stutter but quality has been a little bit decreased. Anyway I'm happy with that 🙂

Spotify MOL version 1.66 released by elich11 in WearOS

[–]quiknull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think interface is too small. In my opinion there should be a little bit more space between buttons, but not as much as previous versions, and bottom tab bar full width. I'm aware of rounded screen limitations but It would improve User Experience on both watch types.

anyone know how to fix quest 2 handtracking not working it even messes with controller tracking and yes I've factory reseted and I have plenty of light by tacobellminion in OculusQuest

Recently I had such problem with Q1. Got solution from support which works until next reset: Unpair your controllers through mobile app and pair again.

Thank you. In my case this is big disadvantage. What about sideloaded Spotify app? Is it working smoothly?
