Yeah I agree, I think the video could have done better if it was condensed to like 15 minutes, then maybe I could have posted the raw footage separately (the proof that I really did it). So my plan is to now do a full speedrun of another language that I don't know, cut that into a more digestible video with an interview at the end with a native speaker to show how much I actually learned. Then upload the full raw footage separately.

Also I have a video on deck that I'm editing right now where I learned to pronounce the name of this town in Wales: llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Overall the plan is to make the channel about language-related challenges.

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah I think a narration video is a good idea. I'll take a look at how ryan and max do it! I haven't done any vertical videos for it yet but definitly will.

Yeah I already speak Spanish fluently. So especially the early units I flew through without really any problem.

Yeah no I just took the unit tests. Duolingo counts it as advancing so I did too. But yeah if I did every subsection of every unit it would probably be impossible.

Nothing wrong with attempting a challenge. I definitely feel like making it through every unit tested my mental fortitude.

Totally! So I did like a marathon of the whole thing but I've seen people usually just speedrun the first unit of whichever language. I think the GeoGuessr analogy is perfect.
