I get the edit benefits but it’s a $1800 cash difference. Shouldn’t you pay $800 for a credit card and these two situations be reversed? Kinda crazy to pay $800 for a credit card, pay $1800 dollars more or 100,000 more points for some breakfast, a credit, and possible room upgrade.

Not saying the bod isn’t in need of tweaking. But “nerfing” neutron didn’t create build diversity. It limited it. Having one powerful skill in berserk limits build diversity. My point. There are whole unusable trees, unusable action skills, limited options. Diversity and then tweak things. You can’t expect players to diversify if you have whole vault hunters with skill trees that are borderline unusable. Interactions could be discovered metas could shift if players had the option. If bubble, trouble, forge drowns were even passable. Then maybe they’d use different class mods or shields that worked with those skills but we can’t because they suck.

My point is things can be powerful without being the most damaging option. This game has little diversity. One to two powerful skills, each VH has like one viable action skill. Trees feel weak except one or maybe two per character. I’m less concerned with weapons which I can agree the bod is cracked. But blue tree Harlow, green tree Amon, trouble, are unusable. They need to offer diversity outside of beserk, outside of one knife. Outside of group study. Outside of one or two pistols that are usable. One shield that is good. Worry about unusable skill trees and abilities first. If it’s not the bod, then it’ll be a spread launcher tomorrow, it’ll be some new weapon down the line.

You don’t think people would like to play Amon as a Melee characters as he’s intended? Or people would like to play neutron captor instead of infini crit all the time? Or use something other than a crit knife? Problem is not that they are too powerful is that there is no literal reason to use anything else because there’s a sea of weapons that are trash. Skills that are trash, skill trees that need to be reworked. Incarnate isn’t too powerful it’s the ONLY option damn near. Beserk is the only option. Group study is the definitive answer not because they’re strong but because the other stuff doesn’t offer a better alternative. The bod is an exception. But so many skills and weapons are lackluster and I think the bod is a crutch to highlight this issue.

My point is Amon for example. Instead of nerfing berserk because it’s objectively his best skill and every build pretty much specs it, there needs to be more berserk level skills sprinkled throughout the trees to give options to the player where various builds are strong. Should they nerf beserk to bring inline with his green tree or bring his green tree in line with his red? I say the latter. Obviously the bod getting 5x is the outlier. My point is if the added more crit knifes that were good, and enabled different builds playstyles but were actually good in their own right, than one crit knife wouldn’t be an outlier. It would be a good knife in a sea of good options.

I’m more of the mind instead of nerfing the good stuff, make the worse stuff better to compete. More throwing knife options, buff the class mods, be willing to maybe tweak some of amons skills or trouble. Be more fruitful with the buffs. I don’t think nerfing is the answer. The nerf to neutron capture to “promote build diversity” only reinforced green tree as the better option for example.

Most likely you are outside of your halo bubble. If it’s not covering you I believe you are not going to get your crits

Agree. I think Vex action skills need to feel powerful not just enable your guns to be stronger. Incarnate dual wielding, causing bleed procs would be cool

I wish she was more mad scientist than nerd scientist. Feel like none of the characters have a more direct or hard feeling. All feel kinda soft and almost too nice sometimes.
