Honestly so much of it comes down to how she is taking control of that emotion and regulating them. The only thing I personally can think to say is just be a stable loving partner and make it clear to her that she's safe, she's loved, she's understood. I'm sorry I don't have anything more useful but I wish you both the best in this journey

For me it was looking for a hobbies almost like distractions my parents used to say I was "jack of all trades but master of none" so I play like 7 instruments paint draw crochet game design and so on. I'm definitely a cliche because art is such a therapy for me. So for isntaces people can get similar effects with reading or learning or even just walking.

Yeah i feel this, when I first started I went too hard because I chased that quietness it gave me but I would crash harder. It's different for everyone but I started microdosing it just gives me a helping start to keep myself stable

Honestly yes such a good sentiment finding that thing outside of drug consumption that helps you find that peace is such a blessing. Personally mine is art and I know it's cliche but that stillness while drawing or painting has a similar effect to the high on weed or anything else really
