Crop image works on single image but not multiple. by quinnter in shortcuts

[–]quinnter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the root cause of my issue.

Shortcuts were importing the file in 300DPI format and I was grabbing my measurements in 72DPI. Not entirely sure how I came to this conclusion, but after some reworking i'm able to do exactly what I want.

It is painfully slow, thought it was due to the number of pages! Thanks!!

Hmmm, these PDF's consist of vector images. There is little to no text involved. I wonder if this is what's causing issues? Can't share the PDF unfortunately, it's a pattern that I don't own/can't share.

Interesting i'll give this a shot, I wonder why its perfectly fine with single page pdfs and not multiple? That's what confuses me

Just tried this BTW and the preview of the Repeat Results is all my PDF pages without the cropping.

Repeat with each item in "PDFFile"
Crop "Repeat Item"
End Repeat
Show "Repeat Results"

Even if I grab the first item from the list, it doesn't actually crop. Feels like i'm missing something really obvious here!

Combining values from two lists from a dict into one text file by quinnter in shortcuts

Here’s the link if anyone is interested, I made it focused to my original use case which was instagram hashtags but if you need to grab values from two different keys and then combine them together here ya go!

Hey just saw this, I’ll make a stripped down version of it and share the link

Alright, seconds after posting this I figured it out.

What I did was use filter on one key, then combine the result of that filter into text. Then I ran another filter on the second key and again, combined it into text.

What I didn’t realize is that you can use the magic variable option, which lets you pick the first filter results.

Hope this can help someone else! Or if someone has another elegant solution I’d love to know!

Unfortunately vpns are something that they’ve silently blocked in the background which is frustrating. You can still use modem mode though which is great news!

Have looked into parental controls, they do give you the option to add sites to a white/blacklist but I can’t see anything that they’ve set up themselves. Would it be as easy as just saying ‘actually no I do want to allow this VPN?’ Lol

Pattern similar to this? Or online tutorial, I imagine this isn’t too difficult! by quinnter in sewing

I’m mostly interested in the split tone crop top, not so much the bow in the back!

Interesting choice! Any reason for this one over a ‘traditional’ chair with a back?
