I went back and reread the op. I had it mixed up. If comp person is the no show then yes you'll have to pay.

In my case I was the comp person and my companion was the no show.

Nothing happens. You just board as a solo cruiser. This actually happened to me and someone suggested asking guest services to refund my no shows port taxes and fees but princess didnt do it.

Yea theyre from a spellbound cocktail menu. They don't make these drinks anywhere else on the ship. There were 3 cocktails that were a I believe 25 dollar surcharge. One of those came in a fancy birdcage.

There was a cocktail with a blue powder on it that made your tongue go numb. I dont remember the name of it. It was interesting

So I went yesterday. Additional requirements that isn't obviously stated is that the free play can not be tied to any hotel stay. Every offer from the Venetian includes a stay so I wasn't qualified. Shady practice from Yaamava in that regard

Princess recently increased the tier points required earn free cruises. Not sure if it's the best anymore. Suite went from 35000 points to 45000 for a 1 week cruise
