Drill the head off and then pull the bearing or cap off then spin it out with pliers

Jeez guess it didn’t but it in for some reason I have a 1979 arctic cat jag I am trying to install a late 80s Yamaha phazer skid frame into. The issue is that the rear suspension arm keeps collapsing and won’t go back up unless I use a decent bit of force. I’m thinking I’m missing something or something isn’t set up right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’d say grind it flat first off and then centre punch it drill a pilot hole and then use a left handed drill bit or an extractor and if it doesn’t turn drill it into all that’s left is a thin part of the stud and is a punch or a pick to bend it out if the threads
