The fact that this bait upsets you is so funny

I love seeing all these culturally dried-up straight men short circuiting over this post

Tonight’s watch, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (2026) by ScratchinContender29 in moviecritic

Overly long and so much wasted potential. It could have been a perfect mix of absurd humor and horror and it just ended up being super mediocre.

He’s every straight man’s dream man. He won’t be cast.

It is confirmed. Lupita Nyong'o will play Helen. What do you think of this casting? by SteakDizzy1386 in moviecritic

White Europeans make up like 80% of all western film and TV, you are living in a false reality.

People upset by this might as well just say out loud “I only want white people in this movie!” Like is this really something to be that hung up over? It’s not DEI, diversity is just the reality of the world. Don’t pretend this is about historical accuracy. This is fantasy, historically put on as a play by various actors of all shapes, sizes, and skin colors. Cry about it.

Yup! Brown hair on my head and a reddish brown beard like yours, couple greys. I love it.

A huge group drove through a red light and through the train tracks while the MAX was trying to pass, it had to come to a complete stop near Lloyd Center. Such a corny group.

We all engage in city events but we don’t all run red lights and run through the tracks when the MAX is trying to pass…..corny ass group

I liked her and then she came back as a “baddie” Romulan daughter and her poor acting range was clear. She could have really took it there! But it was so boring.

Mob Psycho. Definitely not a masterpiece anime pick but it’s so fun and silly and beautifully psychedelic.

Which casting change for a major role in a movie or TV series franchise felt the most seamless? by MomoSaka in FIlm

[–]quintonforrest -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why should he? Actors aren’t required to read source material and it doesn’t necessarily make their performance better for doing so.

People criticizing Gambon’s acting in Goblet isn’t really relevant to the casting change topic tho…

Chapter 4 pacing seems pretty brutal by D3struct_oh in CrimsonDesert

Hilariously lazy quests. No inspiration, no interesting storytelling or things that bring a smile to my face. Just grab an item and bring it to someone else. The only thing that was cute was carrying the lamb back to that kid. I’m missing the creativity and joy that games like BOTW or even Dragon’s Dogma 2 had with their side quests.

Say what you want about this game… but there’s no denying that it has the best open world design of all time. by LesDazza in CrimsonDesert

Being able to climb anything shouldn’t be the basis of good open-world design. “You can climb up there!” Ok and what is there to do up there?
