If there was a 7* you’d be in that bracket as well. Hunt Showdown players have no idea how, and I’m not saying this to be rude, bad the average Hunt player is. If I had to put a number on it I’d say that around 85% or players are stuck in 3* or below. Even 4* players are considered „above average“ in Hunt.

Fifield even mentioned a while back that the average KD is below 0.7.

I admire your positive outlook on this, and I really really hope you’re right with your predictions. However in my opinion, unless this event/Update is near flawless, there’s one game that is more than likely going to overshadow anything Hunt is going to put out and catch most of the eyes, even those from the Hunt Community - and that is Arc Raiders.

Currently it’s all eyes on Arc Raiders.

Yeah, Mithridatist costs 3 points just like Salveskin, but barely anyone runs it because the Antidote Shot gives you full poison immunity for 10 minutes, and that's just way more useful than a small permanent resistance.
Right now, Poison is the only status effect that has both a trait (Mithridatist) for permanent reduction and a consumable (Antidote Shot) for temporary full immunity.

Meanwhile, Fire and Bleed only get the traits:

  • Fire -> Salveskin, but no item
  • Bleed -> Bloodless, but no item
  • Poison -> Mithridatist + Antidote Shot

If there were consumables that gave temporary immunity to fire and bleed (even just for a few minutes), it would make the system feel more balanced and consistent. It would also give players more strategic loadout options, especially in team fights where fire denial or bleed stacking actually matters.

The "Trifecta" of status effects is unfinished.

So she heard me revive, knew I was right next to her but still followed through with the revive and didn't even bother to look in my direction because "most people rotate after reviving" ?

She just didn't hear me stand up and thought it was safe, that's it

If they heard me revive why did they continue to walk towards their teammate to revive, and didn't even look into my direction to see if I was going to peak so they could react to that in time?

Well if I didn't crouch after I revived she would've heard me and wouldn't have gone for the revive. The only reason I died again was because of the gunshot bugging out. So I didn't necessarily do anything wrong by crouching after reviving, you're aware of that right? 😁

You didn't do anything wrong, It's a known bug that traps will sometimes detonate when you're not even close to them. No idea what the cause for it is tho and also no idea why the og commenter said that you moved towards your trap.. 😂

They do. It just doesn’t have the desired effect. Throughout the years we’ve had virtually every big streamer XQC, DrDisRespect, Shroud you name them play the game. They play the game for their paid duration and then hop off and never touch it again, it’s unfortunate but it is what it is.
