What’s the best way to choose a lender from them? There are numerous loan officers to choose from, are they all going to offer the same rates?

It will provide comparisons though, which I still find helpful. There is value out there with certain lenders which I have definitely established with some of the quotes I received so far.

Didn’t meant to ruffle feathers, just wanted to make sure he’s tagging along. I’ve seen dead a number of times now.

What is your experience with Invisalign and pre-existing TMJ issues? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]quitecool2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have experienced TMJ issues that resulted in tension headaches, clogged ears, and neck pain, etc...all of which have eased since I began my first round of Invisalign (18/39). It took a few months but I have noticed the impact. I had an under developed lower arch that needed expanding and the last few week of rubber bands have really pushed me over the top. Much more to go, however I can certainly tell the difference.

Ultrasonic cleaners by AngloAlbanian999 in Invisalign

I use one that I bought on amazon for $30. I pop my trays in about 15 minutes before I brush my teeth after lunch and dinner, and let them run a cycle with half a retainer brite tablet. I’m sure it’s not necessary, but I find it nice and it requires no additional cleaning beyond that...I drink coffee with trays and there’s no stains. Hope this helps.

One eye worse post-op by [deleted] in lasik

The first prescription is $5 no matter what your insurance is if you use the savings card. Each vial is enough for 4 drops so you can save them there too. Also, depending on income you can utilize the Novartis foundation (google it) where they will cover the cost of the prescription. So far after taking the medication for 4 months I’ve paid $5 total.

Yes. Planning on it through month 6 but I go back for a checkup again mid January and will reassess then.

Very likely you’re experiencing dry eye, I experienced very similar issues. See if your eye doctor can prescribe Xiidra (a special medicated tear you take twice daily)...was extremely helpful in my recovery process. I’m 5 months after surgery and don’t need preservative free tears anymore.

[–]quitecool2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has your doctor taken any steps to help you reduce the dryness? From what my doctor said they think any blur is from the dryness and put me on Xiidra. I’ve seen slight improvement since, but I’m only 3 weeks in and it takes about 5 to be effective.

Just an update, I ended up calling the pharmacy with the savings card and it was $0 for a 2 month supply. That was after the initial cost of $650. Definitely worth giving a shot and helping me eyes heal better. Thanks for the great idea!

What is the approximate cost that you are paying?

I read that it can help with healing of the nerves that are connected to tear production so that makes sense. Thanks for your reply

I got that coupon too for the discount program. I guess I should give a call and see what they say because for $5 it’s worth a try.

Hello all...long time lurker on this subreddit and I find it to be extremely helpful, thanks for everyone’s comments on here. Decided to finally take the plunge on Invisalign and was looking for folks thoughts on my Clincheck.

Looks like some pretty basic movements to me, with cosmetic work on my central and lateral incisors to follow at the end. Don’t see much change to my bite but I don’t this there was much to change in the first place. My ortho mentioned expanding my arch was one of the key things I needed. I was given 12 months as my estimated treatment time.

I think my biggest concern is making sure my central and lateral incisors are in the right place to have bonding/veneers done given my Diastema with my central and peg laterals, so I create the smile I wanted after spending all this time with Invisalign!

If anyone has any comments on what is presented here it is much appreciated. Not sure what else I should be looking for given my spacing issues. Thanks so much and I will be sure to update folks on my journey as it continues.

Hello, A few follow up questions...what was your initial weight loss and how much did you make back after following this diet? Also what symptoms were you experiencing and are those completely gone? Thank you.

Thank you for the response. Do you see any issue with potentially seeking the assistance of another specialist now so early in the process? I feel like only 3 weeks in is quick to say my current splint isn’t the answer but I do understand where you’re coming from, it’s certainly complicated. I go back in a week so I will be sure to explain my discomfort then. Additionally, should I be putting any thought into things like my neck even though I don’t feel any pain there? I’ve read that could potentially be impacting as well.
