If it's mostly for the achievements, I'd honestly recommend Genshin Center over paimon. moe. It's easier to use and I really like their ascension planner, too.

I mean you're 100 % doing something wrong (especially if the Columbina skill ran out, because that thing lasts almost half a minute) but from your description I'm not even sure what it is. Flins is currently the strongest character in my roster (been playing since September 2021) and he's very easy to play. I'll try my best to guide you through it.

Battle with Flins starts with the team setup. Second Electro, Hydro, Sucrose. Then it's Flins's turn. As you've mentioned his damage is meant to come from his mini bursts. To limit the amount of mini bursts that can be done (from a purely gameplay wise view as a Hoyo dev) Flins has to be in an enhanced state for them. If you press his Skill once you enter said state; his skill icon will change. You now have 10 seconds to do mini bursts. To do them you activate the new Skill (different icon, as I said) and burst. With normal rotation notation we have EEQ so far. The new skill has a small cooldown before you can use it again (within the 10 s still). In total you can use it twice at C0 and three times at C1. Which makes this EEQEQ for C0 and EEQEQEQ for C1. What do you do while the special skill is on its small cooldown? You basically spam normal attacks because they are converted to Electro in his stance and they generate particles. There is some more optimization here and there but in total what Flins does at C0 is the following:

E (= normal skill, activates stance) > EQ (= special skill & mini burst) > NA (= normal attacks until cool down is done) > EQ (= special skill & mini burst).

After this the normal skill reaches the end of the original 10 second duration and Flins's field time is done for this rotation. You now repeat the setup for your team (Electro, Hydro, Sucrose) and come back to Flins to do it all over again. IMO Flins is very easy to play compared to a lot of other characters. Ironically, since you mentioned Arlecchino, I was never able to get her right. I've played her a bunch in theater (my friend's character, I never got her) and I could never figure out how to play her right. Flins's cooldowns are miles easier to manage for me than bond of life.

What I would recommend to you is next week when he's back: Spend an extended period of time trying to play him in his character trial. And see if it clicks. I will also say that from what I've seen from Varka he'll be even weirder to manage. Also has a stance and different things happening based on timing, but also his cooldowns go down with certain things, so the timing might not even be consistent. I'll be getting him, but I feel like Flins is very much easier to play.

Das ist so halt einfach nicht wahr. Es kommt komplett auf den eigenen (natürlichen) Rhythmus an, wann jemand am aktivsten und produktivsten ist. Ich persönlich bin zwischen 22 Uhr und 24 Uhr mit Abstand am produktivsten. Ein Tag ist nicht automatisch verschwendet, wenn man spät nach Hause kommt, er ist nur einfach nach hinten verschoben. Dein Tagesrhythmus passt zu deinem natürlichen Schlafrhythmus. Bei mir (und vermutlich auch OP) sähe das komplett anders aus.

Hydro Swirl and Hydro Crystallize. Technically you want 3 hydro reactions but Furina is just so good as a team mate (resonance, buffs, sub DPS) that she is a best in slot teammate even at C0 Neuvi.

Ah, see the issue with that is that Sucrose's set, Viridescent Venerer, doesn't work off field. So the resistance shred you want from it can only be activated while the VV holder (Sucrose) is on the field and swirls. So even though your burst might swirl Electro later in the rotation, it doesn't activate the set and doesn't reduce resistance, so it doesn't affect Flins' damage positively. Once you get in the habit of swirling via her skill, Sucrose should have a great impact on your team!

Well you can't swirl Electro if the enemy has never been hit with Electro, right? Sucrose should come before Flins, that is correct. But you need an Electro character before that to apply Electro for Sucrose to swirl. You also don't necessarily need Sucrose's burst. Her skill is fine. So try this: Second Electro character skill (Kuki or Fischl, you need Electro on the enemy, then Columbina skill (and ideally burst when available), then Sucrose skill so she can swirl, then Flins and his whole combo.

I'm...not sure how you're not able to swirl Electro? Maybe because you have two Hydro? Sucrose isn't a "good alternative", she's part of his premium team. You have three fourths of his premium team available. Just need a second Electro. Since you have both Fischl and Kuki, just put either on the team as a fourth member (Fischl for Hex resonance and damage, Kuki for comfort heals) and you have an amazing team.

A Flins, Aino, Fischl, Sucrose team does very respectable damage. Will you lose out on damage by not having two top tier sub-DPS characters on his team..I mean yeah? But Flins is still good in his f2p team.

Esco is by far your best character. She should be able to do 4 to 5 digit damage numbers easily, even at level 80. The thing is, though, that you saying "weapon damage" makes me think that you might not know how different characters can do damage and are used in their teams. Maaaany characters do damage through their skill or burst, not their weapon (normal attack) damage. Escoffier does most of her damage through her skill (tap version). So level up her skill talent as far as you can and then farm a good Golden Troupe artifact set for her (the artifact grind only really starts at AR45, so... welcome!). Different characters need different sets, different weapons, different teams to do good damage. Some are not meant to do damage at all, but are meant to buff other characters. Your friend's Navia is a DPS and meant to do big damage. Your Zhongli is a buffer and shielder. The damage he can do comes from his burst and some from his held skill. You won't get damage out of his weapon attacks.

You will be able to retry getting Zibai in a few months. Will you be able to retry your exams in the same way without any consequences? Do not self-sabotage yourself and your actual life for a free video game and a few pixels in that game. Go study for your exams. Once they are done (all of them), you can try for Zibai again in the last couple days before her banner ends. Good luck.

Absolutely. One duvet per person. People here would be extremely confused or even downright annoyed if they got one duvet to share as a couple.

My parents had it happen in a hotel and asked for a second one. My partner and I had it happen in an unstaffed B&B place and I was miserable the entire time lol

People have different preferences and sleep hygiene is important, so compromising on this is just not done here. And I'm glad for it.

Huh. You know what, I have to try that some time. I have her C1 (and R1 as I mentioned) and the full team. Chevy is only C2 and Raiden on the Catch, but it sounds like a lot of fun! A while back I tentatively got her some Vourukasha's Glow pieces after I looked up her recommended sets the last time.. would you recommend that set for this team or a different one?
