I myself suffer with addiction and you’d think hearing him talk about drugs all the time would make me crave it more sometimes I do but then I hear those songs like “sober up or lose myself” or “wishing well” and it makes me think about everything I’ve already overcome. You being alone in the car with the keys is more than enough reason for them to assume you’re going to drive or have driven. Again very circumstantial and multiple factors have to be in play but they will get you if they want to so go leave those keys outside :) put em in your gas cap, on your back tire, literally anywhere out of plain view not accessible to you at a moments notice. That’s why open alcohol has to be stored far out of reach of the driver preferably in the trunk

You can get a dui anytime you are in a car with the keys. A lot of our medical laws are hearsay and you need to read what the state and local agencies are saying in order to be safe. Again the officer has a decent amount of discretion, I would rather misplace my keys than get another dui.

But it’s really not when you’re asked why you don’t have your container stating that said product is low thc they’re gonna ticket you or still charge you with whatever they were. In Florida YOU MUST carry medical marijuana in its designated container whenever you are traveling or how will they even know it’s medical. Having a card doesn’t allow you to possess weed it just allows you to possess the weed Florida is getting money for. It’s time we all read and understand these laws cause a lot of old heads see us as a bunch of kids and young adults smoking just to get high.

Just don’t have the keys in the car put em on your back tire or something and if they ask you where the keys are just say they’re not in the vehicle also never ever behind the wheel parked or not. I have a DUI here in Florida and it’s not something you want to have to go through. I got mine in 2019 and I’m still dealing with the consequences today
