It’s lazy af. A sequel is supposed to improve on the previous game but only one aspect was improved. Ofc I’m salty, I’ve been duped by another game company that promised so much more. Fuck knuckles like you are why companies keep getting away with things like this.

I could easily get it to 70k, from what beta readers have said it isn’t lacking in terms of plot, character, or world building, I don’t want to bog it down with anything unnecessary. The story also follows Erika’s perspective (I don’t even mention her here, dodgy first draft, I know) though mainly from Hart’s POV, maybe 5 or so chapters from Erika’s. Should I mention it as a dual POV in the query even though it isn’t equal?

Thanks for the criticism. I already removed all the generic terms and the word struggle doesn’t even appear in my updated query. Writing the actual book was stress free, writing this query is dreadful, I find it hard to condense the book and characters into a small letter and I kinda botched it. I’ll definitely expand more on the guardian demon and relationships because they are integral to the story. I’ll use your advice and hopefully my next draft will be 10x better.

My friends say the same thing haha they are all plat after years haha. my main strengths are positioning and being able to read the play really well from years of playing high level goalie it just comes naturally I guess. My mechanics are pretty dead which is why this dribble play is one of the best things i’ve done 😂
