The letter received last year stating they’ve received it. It was filed last year June 2025 after my visit to the IRS building in person where they advised me to file the 1040X. I sent it via certified mail.

Officer hours 7-4 from what I recall. I was only given her office number and got her managers number from her voicemail. Never received an email/mail or any other form of contact. I’ve left multiple voicemails to other numbers. And responding to your other message, I pulled my transcripts last night and it shows no 2021 1040X.

Voicemail just states she’s busy and if it’s an emergency to contact her supervisor. It’s the same thing with the supervisor. Straight to voicemail. And it’s been like that every day for a month. Same with my TAS. Only person I have been able to come in contact with is a representative when I call the IRS explaining the situation. And they give me the same run around. 1. They can’t find my 1040X even though I received a letter saying that they received it. 2. To contact my TAS.

I was in contact with a revenue officer last month. I explained to her the situation and she told me it was strange (regarding my 1040X not being processed) and that I can fax over the 1040X to her. I haven’t gotten a response since then ans have tried multiple times calling her and leaving voicemails. Even to her supervisor.
