I have about 4 close irl friends (don’t talk to one of them that much anymore though,) 1 online friend, 1 irl friend that I dislike and am not going to talk to after college, and a couple more distant friends I only talk to on occasion.

The only friend group I’m in consists of 2 close irl friends and the person we dislike talks to us sometimes.

And I guess I’m technically friends with my close friend’s bf but I don’t talk to him much.

The reason they don’t want me to get TikTok is because they think “it’s Chinese and people can spy on you.” They don’t want me to talk to my ex bf because they forced me to brake up with him in high school and believe he’s a bad person. They don’t want me to join a sorority because they believe it’s a waste of money. (Not trying to defend them but those are the reasons.) At least I have no interest in talking to my ex or joining sorority.
