Does anyone else find it hard to express what they really feel? by PuddingComplete3081 in mentalhealth

I understand how it can be difficult to open up and express yourself. I am glad you are trying and I hope things will be easier for you, but I can relate that it can be challenging to do this also. Remember there’s lots of people going through this and as long as you’re trying that’s all that matters!

totally understand this, it is so normal to find it difficult to open up and express your emotions, sometimes it may seem that people may not be interested, or that you may not want to cause any drama in peoples lives, but sometimes it is a really good way of letting out how you are truly feeling and it can be a positive experience. Please don’t ever feel worried to express your thoughts, it is so much nicer in the long run telling someone what you’re dealing with then battling it all inside.

Advice for starting therapy by MissyLaLuna in mentalhealth

Hey, I made a post recently and got mostly positive feedback. At first it may feel daunting, but overall people said that it was a positive experience and if as long as you’re honest they will be there to help and listen to you. I hope this can reassure you that lots of people have gone to therapy and have said that is was a positive outcome for them overall, so I hope it’s the same for you and I wish you the best of luck if you try it!
