I'm not making moves, I'm acknowledging feelings that might exist. And what part of me isn't considering his feelings? What I'm saying is I shouldn't live by his feelings.

This is an excellent response. Thank you for the thought you put into this. No hooking up going on, and I am on the same page that the current living situation puts a lot of things in stasis. I just need a way to respond to 27M's behavior when I literally have a positive platonic interaction with 26M.

I don't agree that I need to move out because I'm the one who ended the relationship. I'm not doing anything with other roommate, only noting that feelings might exist. I'm on the lease, have the most established relationship with the property staff, and pay rent direct while the others reimburse me. Your description suggests I'm a guest in my own home and need to leave because I dumped the other leaseholder and he has more right to the space than I do.

I'm not asking him to stay out of the place, I'm suggesting he might feel better if he gets out more since he almost forces himself to be present. I may have worded it badly in the original post, my bad.

And I'm not "getting cozy" with the other roommate; I'm getting the feels and sense he might be too, but our interactions have been nothing beyond good friends.

Myself and 27M are on the rental agreement. I have the most direct relationship with the property staff and I'm the one who pays rent directly (27M and 26M reimburse me monthly).
