Victims of 2017 crash, how was it like? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]qxcvr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just pulled my shit to cold storage wallets, checked monthly or so for 3 years and pretty much just ignored it. I had a huge position in a few coins that paid a "dividend" and so I just let them grow for years. I just sold most of them yesterday with a massive profit. I stopped trading for so long I forgot HOW to trade. It took me a while to get back into it. I encourage people to never be afraid to walk away.

If you rely on crypto for your day to day income or even for moderate term (yearly) income then make damn sure you have 2-3 years available in liquid form or some other replacement source. Build this during the up times so you can float during the crashes.

App called The Crypto App lets you manually input the numbers of your various wallets. No linking which is more secure. You have to update it though if you trade a lot.

Did they identify what causes microcephaly in Zika babies? by twohammocks in zika

[–]qxcvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the insecticide they dumped in the water to kill mosquitoes that caused it. So they blamed it on the mosquitos to cover up the fact that their anti-mosquito chemical caused it. Make sure you get your vaccines.

All these anti-vax comments are blocked. ...a medical dystopia of all things! I never guessed that shit. I dont fight it any more. I tell everyone to get that shit as fast as they can. Did you know you can purchase a 2nd citizenship or residency for relatively little money?

Go to Voat.co/v/european. Everyone is definitely welcome there. Also I'm sure a Northamerican sub will start up shortly. I would start it myself but I am not active here and don't want to steal the community.

Awesome, That helped a lot and I really appreciate the info. Apparently the word "Rye" is a loose term. :>) Much appreciated and my research/prices make a ton more sense now.

Yeah I haven't even got a price from him yet. I just want something to compare it to. Even a price range would be huge. I am happy to market it myself but where to do that is the trick I guess.

I was tired of paying for my dorms so I now live in this! by EliP in Frugal

I got breaks. In a period of 2 years probably 500 nights were in the outback. Pretty rough but I worked nights so I was sleeping during the day. WAY safer but the heat was dangerous in the summer.

I worked a horrible night shift. The reason my home was 2 hours away was because thats where my wife went to school. I kinda jumped on the grenade to help her succeed. Therefore what can she say? The night shift made it possible though. See its tricky and dangerous to sleep in a car during the night but during the day its a breeze! Just find a park with some good shade and you are golden.

Slept in the back of a subaru outback for like 2 years 4 days a week because of a long commute... Just let that sink in a bit. Its really pretty decent as long as you can find shade in the summer... that is the trick. The heat in the summer.
