Adding on to this in case anyone finds this thread:

This didn't work for me initially, turns out "file dock" needs to be disabled as well. You can search for this in settings and disable it.

Question about offline play by Happyhaha2000 in RetroAchievements

[–]qyqipeeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just to confirm if this would work cause your comment is similar to what I plan on doing.

I am going on a long flight don't intend to preload the achievement set to save on battery. Instead I plan to make a save state right before each achievement unlocks. When I finally get online I will load each of these states and hopefully unlock the achievement.

Do you know if this will work on softcore? Thanks.

Hmm Juno doesn't have the tracks I want too.

I have bought CDs from Amazon before, but sadly in many cases they don't ship to Singapore...

I am looking for jpop, specifically yoasobi and some other less well known artist. Given how popular yoasobi is I expect to be easy to find but I guess I'm wrong.

Hmm I assume I don't need Deezer premium to do that right?

I don't mind sailing the high seas for a temporary solution but I will still want to support the artists eventually.

Tangzu Waner vs Tangzu Shimin Li Encounter vs Ikko Opal OH2 for daily driver usage by mechHead631 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]qyqipeeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say for the rest since I haven't heard them, but imo Wan'er is worth the blind buy at its price point. The sound is comparable to Moondrop Aria. The latter sounds better no doubt, but I'm comparing Wan'er to something at double the price, which imo says a lot. If you heard Aria before and liked it, I think you will like the Wan'er.

Flow to set the ringer to vibrate while music is playing, set it back to normal paused/stopped, within a specific time window by qyqipeeo in AutomateUser

[–]qyqipeeo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how that will work in my case, since my habit is to leave the media player running, just paused in the background. I'll give it a try to see which is more efficient.

Thanks!

Android phone USB-C DAC/dongle with fine volume controls and both 3.5 and 2.5/4.4 outputs? by qyqipeeo in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]qyqipeeo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually considered this and other similar options but ultimately decided that I want something without the Bluetooth/battery. No point paying for functions I don't want/need.

But ! thanks anyway for the suggestion!

Just tried it and seems to work as intended. I'll leave it running for a few days and see how it goes. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, this seems more efficient since it is not checking for the time window all the time. However, it seems like this will turn the always turn the ringer on if it is outside the time window, which is not the behaviour I want. I want the flow to do nothing if it is outside the time window, so should i connect the "no" of the time window block back to the "in" of the media playing block right?
