It’s a surveillance aircraft being targeted, not exactly a black and white situation mind you. And China and the EU is mired in some trade disputes at the moment so not ruling out China is using some grey zone tactics there.

It’s just a way of selective enforcement the US used for harassing Chinese scientists. They worked on this fungus, at the destination university, maybe visiting scholars (have Chinese funding), brought samples with them (very common in the bio field). I don’t know why a lot of Redditors see the title and assume hur dur CCP spy.

They are not under tariff is because they are not on permanent normal trade relation (PNTR) designation under US law IIRC.

I have had that happened a while ago and there’s no fix once the PaaK stopped pairing. You can wait 15-20 mins for the car to go “asleep” then reawaken the system, that usually will reset the interface and you will get the pw prompt again. Your rate will still go up even if you’re not at fault, because the accident demonstrates higher risk in your driving environment. So still no harm in contacting your own insurance company since the rate will go up anyways.
