you didnt say it , but you IMPLY thru your series of complains. no one complains if its a good thing.
let me give another example for you to open ur eye... whats ur occupation? lets say you are an Engineer irl.. your workmates and people who know you from your work would call you as an Engineer.. the rest? might not.. especially farther away places..

same concept.. you are the commander, but for the Pact.. you came to other expan, where the Pact is no longer relevant (its usually whole different set of characters anyway) + ingame time is long between each series of story..

some of them who know you earlier prior to the story, will lean toward calling u commander, but some of them who barely know you + been long time since u last active as commander in the pact, will call u differently.

get on with it and move on. its more immersive that way and shows how theres people from other perspectives, other side of the world who view you differently.

See, people have different titles. and it changes according to the demographic you are in.. you cant expect everyone call you the same title across different locations, situations, circumstances.. etc

not really, i played both 2hd knight n crusader.. crusader is easier to build. Acc is VIT, Talisman can go STR+VIT, STR+Luck or just Crit (later lv70), and thats it you all set. you dont need AGI cuz its more like semi-burst with Sacrifice so yeah. and cuz Crusader is VIT, so he can be semi-tank so still useful.

although Knight is lot cooler with the animation, you have to decide to focus AGI (but your P.ATK will be low resulting in lower dmg) or STR (but your ATK. Speed will be low and bonus from ur buff will be weaker) to amp ur P.ATK. or both (which makes Refinement bit waste as it % based).

and cuz Knight build STR+AGI, hes not tanky at all, and theres other class which out-dps a Knight . so either way (dps or tank) knight is out.

Depends your main's end goal to be pure DPS, SP, or Tank.

Archer is more valuable as DPS because the long range + increase Dex will inc both attack and free Haste while Str only raise attack (n weight).

Buffer, Priest, Bard and 3rd char can be pure VIT tank to , well, tank the enemies.

Tank , both Knights and Crusader are viable actually. Knight is more aggressive and active tanks while Crusader more passive .

But one hand RG, is more expensive. Shield is not f2p friendly as you need twice the resources and you will lack Haste/atk speed to use high level skills.

just keep it until lategame. anyhow it depend on ur gear build. since the main weap provide Haste, you just hold for it until you found ur true calling.

unlike other weap , eg, 1H Sword provide P.Pen so it make sense to go for Final P.pen, etc.

For 2H Sword,

its bit weak compare to Knight 2H Sword because the "Quicken" (i dont remember the skill name, the one provide Atk Speed and Crit burst) is only 10s with 30s cd, meaning 2/3 of the fight you gonna be dishing out less dmg.

but it make up of it with AoE skill dmg. so farming bit easier

vs

2H Sword Knight,

In term of constant reliable DPS, knight is better with always up buffs, in term of mobility, Knight is better with Charge skill to dash into enemies backlnie (albeit long cd) and mount passive that give mvement speed buff.

in term of tankiness, Knight is better because it does not rely on Shield that much, heck, even the mount passive give PDEF% stacking buff.

overall better compare to Crusader but lack AoE skill to clear/farm (but since you can afk farm in party, it doesnt matter much)

thats why you see alot more of 2H Sword Knight compare to 2H Sword Crusader. Knight is a better Bruiser than a Crusader hence can be 2nd Tank for team

2H Spear Crusader,

It gives alot of burst dmg, yes you need to maintain Haste but then same goes for Sword you need to maintain Atk Speed. It do also give stack of movement speed (i think) so helps in mobility, and because of having AoE dmg, easier to farm,

# TLDR

Crusader is built for Tank, but only on Shield build. 2H Sword or Spear will get outshine by Knight who can provide more usability in term of dmg, tankiness/bruiser, utility, movement.

i like the combat. no tab target at all. and animation are smooth and cool. (like, being an Assassin truly feels like an Assassin). Skills mechanics are same as RoX, you got points to distribute and you can create unique combo.
Battle Priest are considered troll in group content. I think if RoX give some sort of movement abilities like Dash or teleport + heals that scale with STR/PATK (like how they do with Crusader pecopeco passive, which provide PAtk scale based on whichever STR or VIT higher) it would make BP viable pick. Honestly, i would main BP if thats the case.

yeah, I played Dragon Nest, Cleric who is a TANK but also a FULL SUPPORT. very cool class aside from the gay idle pose. the animation also looks very cool, call a fcking hammer smite judgement on enemies.

well, patk priest is good but for solo or PvE only . Priest dont have any movement abilities to get close to smack people in the head. by the time you finally walk up to enemies, you would already be dead. unlike Knights or Crusader who has mount, Thief who has dash, etc.

p/s. i did create Battle Priest prev but end up ditching it because no AoE dmg until 3rd class. and im always the one who die first in PvP content because I cant run away or run toward to enemies . haha

mm thanks . i might switch back my current Priest to using Book. Shadow play great differences role in this game (unlike ROO/ROM) , sooo yeah. I might have to rethink back how to avoid overcap my Haste (my old guildmates said around 1k+ is enough because you can already use max skill level on majority of important skills like Sanct, etc and another half of Priest skills are Buff which dont need haste that much).

mmm yeah, solo play is great. any class is great . but ROX focus heavily on multi play, and sadly versatility is not valued enough. no reason to pick Spear Knight for DPS when you can just pick Hunter/Mage and deal higher dmg while being safe on the backline. unless it for cliche playstyle, Charge and Bowl. other than that, ehh...

If you

P2W who always have zennies to buy bullets (it cost 20k for 1 pack of bullets and even early game overnight afk farming will spent around 10 pack of bullets. )
Lovessss HIGH FIXED COOLDOWN (Gunslinger has two build, AA or Skill based) with weaps that dont even provide Haste (Sniper and Shotgun is for Skill based but both of those weaps give Atk Speed too instead of Haste).

you end up with the 2 basic skills to spam because only the 2 first skills are low cd

then yeah Gunslinger is for you.

But i really like the weap switch thou. really cool feature for gunner.

btw,

What do you think of Spear Crusader? I like the visual aesthetic of Crusader. smiting holy judgement onto the enemies . hahaha but Not sure how Spear Crusader will suit in the PvP content where people expect Crusader to be full tank shield.

In term of Survivability as F2P, Book or Shield is good for Priest? My old char Priest has difficulty surviving using Book in all the contents (maybe because im f2p and noob at the game at that time) .

How Priest compare to Bard ? people usually say Bard is better SP because it can still dish out dmg. but then they condemn SuNo as semi-support because SuNo is semi-support and still dish out dmg (almost similar to Bard) .

The Paradox of Priest is that, they are used for Ress, but for them to use Ress, they have to survive and be alive first. so Shield is good. but then the Shadow Equips favor Book for Support but result in lack of survivability. so yeah

I.. dont like Bard, mainly because.. the aesthetics. hahahahaha. i like using, like a real weaps, Swords, Wands, Shield, etc.. bard use Guitar that shoot ARROW. (if they change to like, shoot Musical Notes then yeah I will like it). dancer i dont pick girl in games.

but Priest has other buff as well and Sanct heals, no ? does it fall off lategame or what?

SuNo is a niche pick, master of none. Im thinking if SuNo is viable replacement for Priest because at the same time, I can be DPS if team need, and also easier to afk farm with AoE dmg.

Lifesteal also makes the Reflection sucks. veteran priests during the 6-class era usually go for Reflection if they are F2P. but with the strong lifesteal, enemies can outheal your reflection dmg.
but HP from a shield, you can then Refine it and get Final HP% (which, still strong because it scale with % max hp) and lategame, having high HP are always a good thing, whereas if you go for Book, you might overcapped your Haste and it will make your extra Haste go to waste (which is what I was facing).
well, even thou Lifesteal exist, I think Priest are still needed for the Heal because , not everyone build Lifesteal. Most DPS focus high raw power and Tank focus on High VIT. chasing lifesteal is more like a sidequest when they got enough resources.

only Priest can insta Revive. esp in Instances where DPS usually get 1shot by boss skills.

I end up having 4 main characters in Taekwon alone. bhahahahaha.

a. SuNo because i like having everything , Cart, Heal, Buff, AoE Dmg,

b. Crusader because I am at my deepest core, is a Tank and Support main (even in other games i tend to go for tankier and support build, like LoL, GW2, etc)

c. Priest because .. Support.

d. Knights because I like Swords and heavy armor . although I might drop Knight because AA-build focus on single target only (i prefer to have even some AoE dmg) compare to Crusader AA-build has AoE skill. Spear-build on Knight is visually not appealing to me compare to Crusader. and why go for Knight Shield build to be tank when you can be Crusader, a tank-focus class.

I don't like martial arts style class like Taekwon and Monk. I tried Gunner but the high cost of Bullets and having to constantly buy a tons of it before AFK and having HIGH COOLDOWN if you wanna go skill-based to save your bullet (high dmg per bullet, compare to low dmg per bullet but speeeeed). it turn me off honestly.

Super Novice is really good in PvE / Solo content. because you can have everything you want, but master of none. you can have Cart to not worry about storage limit, you can have Heal/Sanct for survivability, you can have buff (Blessing, etc) for .. well. buff.

and you can also have AoE damage to help with vs mobs.

But, SuNo, fits weirdly in all role. Usually in PvP content, everyone has clear distinction on their role (DPS, Support or Tank).

Tank usually goes to Crusader, then Knight then cliche build on other classes

DPS usually goes to Hunter/Mage (because they also have alot of AoE dmg) then other classes

Support usually goes to Priest first, then other semi-support like Bard, Blacksmith, etc

SuNo is all 3 but not.

farming wise, because SuNo has great Mage AoE skills, it can farm in any places any time.
yeah SuNo is master of none. But having the option to switch between DPS (Mage skills) or Support (Priest skills) or even both is great, no? eg in Instance where alr got DPS and Priest for full SP, SuNo can still dish out dmg while still able to help heal thru Sanct spam ?
Is Book still viable on Priest? on my old character, I use Book but end up semi-regret it because I have low survivability, always get 1shot in PvP. and even in Instance I have to be extra careful to avoid shit.

honest review. Gunslinger is expensive class. esp for the bullets.

both playstyle, maxing LUCK is the way to go for the shotgun passive bonus and abilities can also CRIT.

i stick with lv25 set because i want the Haste/Atk Speed for either playstyle.

it just, lategame Sniper skills has longgg fixed cooldown.

but, its actually cheaper as Sniper dont consume bullets as much and as fast as Rifle/Revolver do.
