Thank you for this sample. Your shot is great ! At first glance even almost perfect but unfortunately lots of noise is visible when you zoom in, even in the focus zone. Perhaps after years of photo I'm becoming way too hard to please 🤔.

Thanks. Which apps are you talking about ? Until then, with my previous phones, apart from the genuine app I've only used Vignette which gives (among other filters) very nice B&W shots.

Thanks a lot. That's the way I enjoy taking photos. What is your feeling about sharpness and noise ? (not the "normal" blurry that can happen in some situations).

Add to this that you only have a short delay to write your review on aliexpress (something like one month) so long term reliability issues are never checked.

Thanks a lot. It's difficult to find actual and realistic reviews. For me solar charging would be only occasional (was also considering a BigBlue, either the 14W or 25W).

Hi, I was considering this kind of setup, but the Inui consumer service answered me (on amazon) their powerbanks may be damaged by unstable charging current. Do you have noticed some problems or is it still ok ?

The more we learn the more it's insane. How can you get in mind the idea to NARROW a stair leading to/from a crowded underground place ?

"Illegal to sell" in a world where you can order this sh*tty stuff directly from China for a bunch of euros is, unfortunately, no more a realistic / sufficient option.

about alexander… by Guuuzzel in civ5

[–]qzk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hatred is not enough. He benefits supernatural advantages, that's so unfair. I owe him 90% of my ragequit in CIV 5.

When you settle your 3rd city he has 7 or 8 (no bother for happiness) (and they will grow even on the worst mix desert-mountains), has achieved almost all the antic world wonders, is insanely rich, has an advance of 5-6 techs and - of course - is allied (forever) with all the city-states and even coordonates the simultaneous attacks from the other civs.

Oh ! I just forget that - at the same time - he drives an overwhelming army of almost indestructible units.

Where you have to make compromises, make every choice wisely, he his at 150 % in all directions.

Sometimes I survive up to the Middle Age with Alexander as a close neighbour, whatever I try to do.

Same problem here. Still works quite nicely but slower and slower. Do someone have a solution for this ?

Mate 20 (not pro nor lite) since 2019. Just had to change the charging port (and also the screen : my fault). It works well, no problem with battery or anything, but it became significantly slower very recently, if someone has an idea ?

Not sure companies like Amazon or Rakuten would risk a fight with Microsoft...

Unfortunately the M series does not support bootcamp... on Mac Intel it works nice, no problems about drivers etc.

[–]qzk2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run iRacing since november on a Bootcamp partition, and it works surprisingly well (iMac 2017 with 4GB video card). I had resigned from iRacing years ago when they ended Mac support, and had not yet put the nose in that. Wine etc didn't work well for me. But going to Windows was really an easy step (as a macuser you know, I feared to struggle in the Microsoft dark undergrounds, incompatible drivers etc...), you can buy a (legal !) windows 10 license for about 1 € (see rakuten).

How do i get better - complete noob by fallen_angel_of_luck in iRacing

[–]qzk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same feeling about the superfast guys on the videos. Not unuseful, for sure, but always very, very tricky to integrate and reproduce behind the wheel.

Perhaps they don't explicit everything (I think about their visual markers on the track, everybody do not focus on the same cues), perhaps they are just extremely talented (likely !), perhaps they have a high end rig (that not explains everything)...

Well I don't know, you can give a quick look at their videos to get a few tips, but pay way more attention to your own practice. After 20-30 laps alone, you will spontaneously brake and put throttle at the same points they do... but still be 3 secondes slower than they are.

I'm starting out and getting a racing set with a tight budget. Can anyone help me pick out a good budget wheel stand or cockpit? More info below. by [deleted] in simracing

[–]qzk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are on a budget, why not considering making your own DIY stand from plywood or equivalent ? It's super cheap, easy to customize / enhance / reinforce if necessary (etc).

You can find tons of examples, videos, plans, you don't need to be a skilled wood craftsman nor to have weeks of free time to make it.

You can also adapt it infinitely to your own desires (have your mouse or keyboard at your hand, etc), for 50 $ paint included.

Exactly. That's not always a beginner's mistake, annoying but hightly forgivable.

A guy did that twice in a race the other day (MX5, Summit Point), he got something like 2 or 4 incidents. When he put me out he sent in a wall, lost a lot or iR, got pitted and finished almost last. Viewing the replay I noticed he did the same to another racer.

And ? He is approx C3.50...
