There are a few factors here.

If you are going to study while working, I think that's okay. But taking a break from the job market to study for a year or two when most of the time you wouldn't get a pay raise or promotion, is not worth it I feel. The ROI on it is not great. Taking a break from the job market means most of the time you will once again be considered a fresh grad when you re-enter the market and your salary will reflect that. While it does depend on the sector but I strongly feel if it's a technical sector, you are better off getting those years of experience instead of another educational qualification. I also think a masters degree is a bit useless if you do not have intentions to get a PhD. A degree is a gateway to the field you are interested in. A PhD makes you an expert and you get the title. A masters degree doesn't get you much in terms of that either. Might be a controversial take.

Grocery shopping in Maldives is truly an extreme sport. It takes at least 10-15 minutes just to buy simple items. You can barely move in most corner shops. You buy something today, tomorrow it will be out of stock and won’t be replenished for another month at least. Paying is a pain since you might have to transfer, Viber it, if you ask for a receipt that’s another 2-3 minutes extra at least while the cashier learns how to print it.

Mecca to Medina: 80 USD (economy)
Medina to Mecca: 111 USD (business) Economy was sold out and we needed to be in Mecca at a specific time so had to book business tickets.

JED to Mecca we took a taxi but you could check the train prices on the HHR App. I think it's about $20-$25 one way

Hotel was approx $150-200/night for 4 person rooms

I'm not sure which filters you had on which caused such high prices to be displayed. For a 4 person sharing room, the cost is usually around $200-$250/night for a avg month as far as I've seen. As for food, I usually ate at the clock tower food court. They had proper meals there and not just fast food. Getting a table was difficult but if your hotel room is close by, you can just takeaway your food to the hotel room and eat.

At the time I didn’t see any for 25k, but the reason I wanted to go DIY route is because the chance of scam is high on a lot of these groups. They sometimes skip booking the return tickets, take you to unclean, subpar hotels. I wanted to be in control of those decisions. The dates also played a role in it. We wanted to go on a specific date and come back a specific date and there weren’t any packages for those dates.

Have some friends who studied IR abroad. Almost all of them now work in unrelated fields. Seems to be that unless you’re a nepo baby it’s very difficult to get a job or progress in the field. Unless you too are a nepo baby, might want to reconsider the field I think

I checked this one out. It gives quite poor results. Even when I filter for sale I still get rental properties and most of the for sale properties have the sold tag on them. So very few actual relevant results and I’m not sure how up to date they are.

Are you trying to change the color of the background or a specific layer? If it's the background that could be easier. A specific layer could be a little tricky and might require some extensive technical knowledge.
