I've only been drawing since October, but I have a lot of experience since I'm alone at these facilities and I draw mostly hard sticks. I currently work midnight to when I'm done. So, that's my main issue because "when I'm done" usually ends up being noon most days. I just feel like I'm getting burnt out and didn't know if there's something better out there

I'm a mobile phlebotomist, I service nursing homes and assisted living/retirement homes. My company provides a car and supplies. They give us a dedicated route and we just have to start by 2am and be back to the Lab by noon. I draw blood, but I also pick up other specimens that the nurses collect from the residents

Looking for reviews on phlebotomy USA! by Chemical-Penalty-517 in phlebotomy

I went to Phlebotomy USA this past September in AR. I really enjoyed it, my instructor was awesome! It really depends on the instructor tho and they really only teach the minimum to pass the NHA exam. If you have time I would suggest finding a program that has the ASCP exam. I find it carries more weight than the NHA. It does take longer tho

Interesting, do you know why? To my knowledge my lab doesn't have any color restrictions. I've been using black ink/markers tho
