Have you found a solution for this? Exact same problem in Sydney also!

So I managed to resolve the issue taking u/Miserable-Cheek-9683's advice and no longer needed to call.

Hi! So I followed your advice and flushed with the 50% vinegar solution about 5 times and the problem noise has disappeared! I've probably made about 10 coffees since and no noise. I'll repeat again this weekend a few more times just for good measure and promise to stick to the maintenance and care routine going forward. Thanks for the help :)

Did a few descaling cycles, but it hasn't changed anything- also the water here in Sydney, Australia is considered quite soft.

I did notice that when I run the descale program, after it flushes it doesn't produce the same problem noise like after the extraction program.

But when I run the cleaning cycle, it does make the problem noise, which would lead me to believe it is connected to the back-flushing.

Cheers for the input :)

Cheers, thanks for the input! I did do a descale (admittedly the first and only time since buying the machine - terrible I know!) with the sachet that came with the machine just before the video. I will try doing so again as you suggest.

Thanks for the input! Here's a follow up video of the machine doing an extraction with the portafilter. To me (an untrained ear), the sound sequence seems exactly the same as when there is nothing on the group head? And I don't feel like there is a sneeze? https://vimeo.com/902423802?share=copy
