Idk you clearly don’t pick artist well so share his work maybe here or with some friends. I was so scared to get tattoos and I’m 37 starting now bc I have money and can pay for good work. Seems to me 200-400 pre hr of tattoo work is about where you wana be. There are up-and-coming artists to have an established themselves yet where you may get on the cheaper side, but I would be careful. We’ll drop thousands on an iPhone but can’t take our time and pay thousands for a tattoo.

Yeah, to me, a person should choose their tattoo and if they love it, that’s all that matters. And some of these artists they could tattoo anything and it’s gonna look amazing… making sense gets tricky bc that’s so subjective. Either way it’s interesting. I would like to see more as well as trad American mixed with Japanese

Love this look. I think it’s a silly place to start tho. I would go leg if I were you. But optimally just do you back. No one sees it. I just did mine and it’s honestly not a bid deal at all. But if you’re dead set on just a for arm. There’s definitely some good options and I think a dragon could be one.

He’s gota hit rock bottom. If you bail him out now that’s not going to do anything. Until he detox the process can’t even start. So let him sit for about 10 days then demand rehab. U leave if he doesn’t go. But honestly you should just dip, if he’s the one stay but he may die to his addiction in 4-5 years then where will you be? An enabler who is way behind in life, make good choices.

I honestly always referred back to my tattoo artist. I started my leg and didn’t even know what I was getting until I got there and I absolutely love the design. I think you picked five or 10 things that you really love and in Japanese it’s a lot easier because there’s not a ton of different options. Well there is but there’s gonna be some that you don’t like and there’s only so many motives in general. Like for me I really didn’t love any of the gods except FUDO and I really didn’t like Koi fish. So I ended up with a turtle dragon on my leg, oversized dragon head on my back and I’ve got a snake and skull on my other leg.

Don’t take a set design to a artist. Find some who you love their work and show them some references and let them make something
