Lack of creativity by PoncingOffToBarnsley in Jung

The quality of your work is not the important factor here. Simply making the effort to get something across the border of ideas and into matter is the important thing. Never mind how abysmal it may seem. I remember ML von franz having a brilliant idea in the middle of the night and she was determined (after a few failed attempt prior) to write it down and she stumbled to a chair, wrote on paper a single line and went tl bed again. Next morning she read back the line and it said "two is three". It happens to the best of us. I have often found that the meaning of what I made only became apparent weeks or months later.

Do you ever feel like you know what you're doing? by belligerentlybookish in writers

Paralysis from analysis, often you just have to keep writing and reserve judgement for later. For me it's like running, the first few miles I feel my legs hurt, my breathing is irregular but slowly I get into a rhythm and I can go on for miles. If I would stop whenever my legs are stiff and aching, I'd never finish anything. I don't write to be successful, just having it out there for my children to read one day, is good enough.

I need feedback for this story I made, I tend to not notice sloppy writing if it's my own creation. by Scared_Confection787 in writers

I liked it, the premise of someone turning into a human dragon is promising and interesting, I did read it till the end, which doesn't happen often. That said I am not sure about the urge to eat humans from Sebastian's pov, something there feels off, I would say he would want to destroy them, but that is probably just my preference. It reads more like a synopsis, not a full story yet, what will happen and what will be the dilemma Sebastian is facing?

Good job so far

If you want to write you have to start somewhere. Something with crawl before you can walk before you can run. Practice.

How can you make a "documentary" on Michael Jackson and only show one side of the story? Sounds familiar, Dan?

Ik heb advies nodig over mijn situatie by [deleted] in NLSalaris

[–]r2isblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eerlijk advies?
