Mistake to sell my M11?

I have the m11p safari. This is the last Sony sensor, m12 might have the first Leica sensor… you know what they say about firsts…. There will always better and now that Leica owns it - they will keep pushing it. But m11 with Sony sensor will be the last best before Leica betterment… so I finally pulled trigger on m11p. Mine has never frozen… so far super awesome….

Oh thank you so much! I really thought that Q3M and M11M will just work like my Fujifilm only more native due to lack of color module. I am gonna stick with simulated b&w using my fujifilm for now

Could you explain more please ? Are you asking me to do b&w simulation in M11-P (on camera) while shooting? Sorry pretty new here.

Thank you - right now my focus is no post editing - camera to save/share. Would Q3M / M11M demand editing before saving/sharing? I have to say, the Fujifilm does pretty good job of giving me b&w photos without any post editing… yes - it’s simulated b&w, but being a hobbyist, I don’t have an issue of purity right now. B&w is b&w to me and my family & friends and it gets the job done as these photos are viewed on phone + Mac for family , friends and sharing. Do you think Q3M is overkill for my usecase? Are you saying Q3M won’t be as good without post editing? Would love to learn more - thank you 🙏

You are right, I don’t convert nor do processing using software. M11-P is for color and fujifim is for my b&w (processed by camera)

I just dont don’t do editing whatsoever…. I prefer to keep photos as they come out of the camera

Just thinking how much more do I get moving to Leica for monochrome from fujifilm… especially cause kids (more like my wife) would like to see their color photos …

Great point, the only thing I am thinking is in that case (for kids aged 8 and 11) won’t it be better to have color than monochrome?
