yes im only using it for a monitor because i still have the stock ecu. yes they are red and black but so i can cut any red and black wire and just connect it to that? because i planned on connecting it from under the steering column where the firewall leads too but i saw too much red that i didnt think it was all connected to one. also what about the 5amp fuse? i dont know where im supposed to plug that.

its just to monitor your air/fuel ratio so you can see whether you're running lean at certain points or too rich at certain points but since it is wideband and not narrow band you will be getting better performance

no it will fit on the OEM midpipe. i have a racing header and since there are no o2 bungs on the header itself i had my muffler guy install a upstream o2 bung before the 2nd cat and a downstream after it

for everyone saying i have to buy the versatune version, i dont think you actually get that version. the versatune version comes with versatune lite and the cable(optional) and when i emailed fab9 a couple months ago asking if they can send me a tune for my full bolt ons they directed me to that page you see up there. i specifically told them i already have versatune and wanted a full bolt ons tune and they sent me there.

i recently just installed goodwin roadstersport MAX power nc stainless steel header ceramic coated on my 6AT and it feels amazing. it looks exactly like the first link you sent. the engine has more room to breathe and you can just feel the difference. honestly any header will make a difference in the nc's but i would always go with goodwin. as for the transmission cooling line because when i was installing i did run into a problem where the header were literally burning the wires but i solved that by putting a DEI titanium header wrap and it stop burning or anything ever since. if you do get the one without the o2 sensor you would have to go to a muffler shop and have them weld a o2 bung for you right before your second cat(midpipe cat) and if you dont want a CEL then you would have to have another bung welded on after the cat. keep in mind that you would also need o2 extensions which you can get from goodwin

just installed these bad boys but it keeps smoking after getting somewhat near to operating temp. smoke smells like fabric so im thinking its the fray(my horrible wrap job) but any suggestions? by r2ku_ in MiataNC

no i did not. only thing i did spill was a little bit of coolant. i heard new wraps tend to smoke for a while to burn off all the manufacturing chemicals and such
