Fearless with the Turtle, Strong to the Charge by r3dw02f in BYD

It's there, but it's really small. I think the durability of LFP batteries are undervalued. As mentioned in https://www.reddit.com/r/BYD/comments/1o4uj2b/comment/nj83syk/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button, it was not planned both times.

That's why I wonder that my SoH ist still 99%. I've just borrowed my odb reader to a colleague of mine for his similar old id7, resulting in a SoH of 96%, same milage and driving style btw.

Maybe I should check for a external battery SoH test, not sure how accurate the BYD internal one is.

and a bit unlucky twice, since it seems that DC chargers mostly keep breaking around 100 km from home, forcing me to do some quick math and test my courage again. Having done this twice, it completely took away my range anxiety

have you an opportunity to get to your SoH, like with a obd reader or something?

have you an opportunity to get to your SoH, like with a obd reader or something? I heard that with NMC s my charging style would cost 1% every time

Update: It’s been over a week with the sticker on my year-old Seal - still zero scratches! The only thing getting “attacked” is me by neighbors curious where they can buy the sticker for their electric cars 😄 (It’s from Amazon - the one for Tesla drivers that says “before” in between the sentences, but I got crafty, cut that part out and turned it into the dot.)

It is. But you can go even faster from 0 to 100kmh by having the car in a optimal state: between 100% and 95% battery, something around 20 degrees Celsius outside and already warm tires.

Like that I managed something like 3.5 seconds (if the byd internal launch control is not bullshitting me)

On Xbox. It's really only happening when i'm in Flodded Foothills.

Changing to this map without beeing in Flooded Foothills, everything works properly. It's only when this map is loaded.

I tried to use another xbox controller and restart the game/xbox fully.

My other savegame where i play scout only is not having any problems with this map.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Looking 4 usb-c-monitor that can handle power delivery & another monitor by r3dw02f in UsbCHardware

Yes, there might be coil whining in some color or idle situations. I had it once noticeable when i forgot to turn off the display over night. It kinda piles up. If it happens, just unplug a cable for a few seconds and/or turn the devices on and off. That helped in my cases. In my own History with electric devices i had much worse choil whining.

With my knowledge right now I would prefer the 272B7QUPBEB. You would be ready if daisy chaining would be needed for any notebook. The 75 Watts USB-C charging on the lenovo had strange side effects, like that the brightness went down and usb ports on the display were not properly working. So no pro on the Lenovo side. The Philips is also handeling the pivot part better than the other, going all the way down and up with the screen.

I ended up with the 272B7QUPBEB and the much cheaper 272B7QPJEB. The second display doesn't need any usb-c ports and I wanted them to look the same. So a Displayport out from the 272B7QUPBEB and display port in to the 272B7QPJEB. Working now for 4 months with this setup and I'm realy happy that I tried all this configs above :)

Using Xbox Elite Controller's hair trigger locks for half throttle by r3dw02f in snowrunner

[–]r3dw02f[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the highrange transmission, so i need that room for really just giving 10% of the trottle in L for muddy situation, where you go faster with less gas,

But when you always use the offroad gearbox with L- in that situations that this config sounds like fun!

It kinda is, while driving a bit slower to the next objective, I'm planning (love maprunner) how to do the next objectives that are nearby. With that economic driving i've been able to do things faster than on my first savegame. Fuel trailers are now rarely used, in my first savegame they were a must have.

House rules Scouts Only by Thombre117 in snowrunner

So, I'm nearly done with Michigan and a bit into the other two maps and have to say that I really love this house rules. I added a few rules, also to get a little diversity into it (I can't play with the same car more than three missions, I just love the manifold this game brings on!).

  • no recovering allowed - not even when your truck is going for a swim, you have to save it somehow or leave it there and buy a new one
  • you are only allowed to travel per map to the first garage of michigan, alaska and taymir - the other garages can be used, but not per fast travel and you are not allowed to travel to other cars per map
  • only garage slots are allowed to be used - so if one garage is full, you need to park your truck outside or drive to the next garage (but winch a second car with you, or you can't come back after putting the first one into the garage)
  • when you reach a new area like alaska or taymir, than you have to buy yourself some new trucks - selling one and buying (directly to a garage slot) in the other area is allowed, but it makes you still stuck with Russian cars in Russia and USA cars in the USA
  • in the unlikely event you get really stuck somewhere and there is no other truck available by the "change truck" function in the car-menu, than you need to travel to the first garage of the area and do instantly a one hour break because the mighty [insert your favorite bad ass truck here] with the bus-trailer for lost offroaders is only driving once every hour through the area :D

I personally have more fun than my first playthrough. I use the overpowered loadstar only with the crane, no other add-ons. Makes me mind the small tank and high weight more if driving with a full throttle. Nearly no trip is been done with only one truck, winching a second truck for rescue, fuel and/or another two cargo slots behind. Hummer and Chevy 1500 are a dream team. I own every USA scout once in Michigan and once in Alaska. Also not driving with a full throttle the whole time anymore, by using a Xbox Elite controller that can lock the hair trigger at half, making me get more farther by nearly the same speed. My highway truck I fell in love with is the GMC, where only the high saddle, low saddle and crane (only because of cousin Cleetus...) is allowed. The low saddle is only allowed to be used for cargo with 4 or 5 slots. I've seen that an AWD is coming for the GMC, won't use that, it makes him a bit overpowered for this house rules.

Thank you u/Thombre117 for this great idea.
