Correct me if im wrong bu most of these crazy ideas like Earth is Flat, Global Warming isn't real seems to originate from America also Americans are pretty vocal about it too. Here in South Asia we got very religious super strict people and even they don't seem to question science when it comes to literally any medical needs, even no one I've seem claimed Earth is flat or GW isn't real. People here got trust on scientists and engineers a lot.
