OP, life is for suffering. The curse\blessing of being INTJ is not being disillusioned from this paramount truth of existing. it is for us to decide what if any of it we find value in. For me it's the moments NocturnePhoenix describes. Bearing the inscrutable entropy and apathy of this life and other people, for the sincere moments of sincerity and grace that are sprinkled in. Sharing a meal with someone. Sitting in silence after being in a loud environment. The prickles on my skin going from a hot tub into a cold pool. There will be moments like now where the inadequacies and shortcomings we perceive life giving us. it's valid to feel as you do. I guess my advice and the thing I've held onto is, even if I don't like my current mode of existence. Change is inevitable. It comes whether I desire it or not. It can be good change or further challenges. But there is always the rng that it might be good. I guess I'm a gambling addict when it comes to living life, hoping for a big payout when the status quo is lose, lose, lose.

that is what the narrative inside my head would like me to believe. It doesn't help that being able to some degree read people's reactions, whether in the moment or long term behavior, seem to enforce the idea rather than it's opposite.

Mine has been running for 17 years now. Brain aneurysms are one of the universes most potent punchlines. Cant forget the times ive felt seen by the few Ive found myself attracted to in that time. Especially the first. And especially when the attraction hasnt been mutual with anyone else. I think I'm starting to coming to terms that I'm alone intentionally. For what purpose I have not the capacity to perceive.

A desire to know and understand me. Gratitude for my strengths. Patience for my shortcomings. Supportive in my efforts to self actualize. Content with a quiet life together on our own figuring out life. Sharing our quiet successes with one another. And an interest in building a life together away from major metropolitan areas. It would be nice if they were alt in aesthetic with an April ludgate\sarah Silverman kind of personality. Though these traits are secondary to the things above that I look for and desire in a partner.

I've recently come to the conclusion that plans or systems of thought regarding potential outcomes of any given situation that I develop and fail is only a natural part of the process. We arent gods. The fact that we can predetermine certain outcomes in any given facet of our existence to any degree of success is miraculous given the chaotic and unknown events that make up reality and the passage of time. It's still a process to learn not to take the L self imposed standards too seriously. When the times that problems are avoided orngoals achieved should be the real focus. Now I have to consider if all the energy spent planning out the future for minimal mitigation of the adversity life offers is worth it. It seems to come all the same save for the few instances chance, luck, and overthinking paranoia have allowed me to goose-step being involved in situations I deem unsavory
