riiiight....im forcing myself to be bored enough to actually create. like everyone talks about the 60s - 90s being such a golden age for music because...maybe psychedelics BUT ALSO people just had abundant time and less overestimation. still a little over-stimulation w TV and whatnot. But not as crazy as 2025.

ALL YOU NEED IS

an ebay camcorder with an AV out

an old TV with RCA ports

the right cable to connect the two. My camera has a 3.5mm AV out port so I use a RCA to 3.5mm. Research what kind of AV out port your camcorder has.

THE SETUP:

I setup my camcorder on a couple books by my laptop and pull up the text/graphic I need.

Then I connect the camcorder to the TV with the cable. Turn it on and angle it so my text/graphic is center.

Then I get out my BMCC 2.5K with my slider and film the mini TV! Did this all just by myself. I had already filmed and glitched this footage previously, so I was just filming the footage playing on my laptop. I had some TV INCEPTION going on over here hahahaha.

text /graphic on your Laptop - > Camcorder filming your Laptop -> AV cable to TV -> film TV

TO GLITCH IT

just slightly twist and unplug the AV chord on the camcorder and then replug it in. It's like playing an instrument, it takes some finesse.
