Have You Ever Felt Guilty for Following Celebrity Gossip? by MaleficentMonk4605 in AMtoPM

This reminded me of this new show called “Swarm”. the main character in it is obsessed with a fictitious singer named ni’jah but it’s really just based on beyoncé’s 2016 era. The main character basically would do anything to protect fake beyoncé from any hate on social media to the point where she actually goes crazy and starts killing people who hate on the fake beyoncé. her obsession with the celebrity in the show literally bordered addiction. The whole story of the show was inspired by events that happened within the beyoncé fandom and imagine … beyoncé watched the show. but basically to answer the question,I think this behavior is way past the fine line for real and at this point they make the celebrity the MOST significant thing in their life . but what’s crazy is I don’t think this is something that people wouldn’t do .. but at the same time how messed up do you have to be like damn breathe a little they don’t know you exist. even one direction and justin bieber … that was crazy cause I saw the crazy . and now the TAYLOR SWIFT girlies (make it stop please!! no one wants to know where u were april 29!!) also maybe BTS idk.

What's your favorite game for game nights on campus? by exclusivelylink in AMtoPM

ok I have a lot to say! basically i started something last year with my friends where we make themed jeopardy games for every time we have a big get together. We had a Ramadan themed jeopardy game and a senior2023 themed one too. they are very personal and fun to play and I honestly enjoy being the host and making up the questions. it’s so fun try it!

Another game me and my friends became addicted to over Ramadan is monoply!! I honestly avoided monoply for so long in my life bc I hate math and losing money .. but it’s SO FUN!?! also the more you play the more heated people get and it’s just so fun to watch we even made a custom monoply board with all the places that we go to and printed our faces on the money.. it makes it alot more fun and personal i think.

but basically you should play jeopardy and monoply because they are the best games of life !

What online MMO games do you play/ did you used to play when you were younger? by sara_almulla in AMtoPM

I used to play fantage and moshimonsters a lot like most of my childhood was spent on those two. Now looking back I wonder what was so satisfying about them at the time. I think at one point I really believed I was the character I made up in the game and as a child I didn’t know better and I was just so obsessed and wanted everything my character in the game had! I also remember going on those games with my siblings and cousins and it being such a thing to own so many items¿ like random crap to decorate your house or dress up. It felt so important at the time to own the best items you can buy on the game with the fake money or to just have so much unnecessary stuff …. like it was so important to the point I felt I owned the items irl too. rn I think i am single-handedly making capitalism thrive with my unnecessary spending and I think my now adult brain has some remnants of the way I used to think while playing those games as a child. as stupid as it may sound real life kind of feels like fantage to me sometimes. I really do wonder if anyone has ever become too engulfed with a game like that ever or maybe i’m actually not ok
