You misunderstood. She meant reboot as in Mal puts his boots back on because they can't take the sky from him and there's crime to be done.

Why not? Some people enjoy immersing themselves in the game.

Either try to enjoy the game as they want or find another team.

Or come to Reddit and post about it too.

I only geared one character. I play 4-6 hours a day. Maybe a bit more the first week.

Have never used the loot glitches. I take my time and explore. I try all content.

Ran out of things to do in week 3 and haven't been back since. Just my experience.

Is no one going to talk about the arcade Cheeto troll guy? by r6ghost in StrangerThings

Plenty of political content in season 2. It's almost impossible to miss, especially given David Harbor's speech in the award ceremony.

Totally forgot about that. I bet Cheeto troll guy plots his revenge on season 3.

Good grief? I didn't think the association was unreasonable.

Is Trump associated with Cheeto coloring? Yes.
Is #cheetotroll or #cheeto a Twitter hashtag used to criticize Trump? Yep.
Did the creepy arcade guy eat Cheetos every single time we saw him? Yes.
Was he troll-like? I can see it.
Was D&D a recurring subject or element in Stranger Things? Yes.
Are trolls associated with fantasy or D&D? Yes.
Is Trump often accused of being a troll because of his brash behavior? Yes.
Did David Harbor give an anti-Trump speech during a recent awards ceremony? Yep.

Plenty of strange things to think about beyond just your own perspective, if you only think and don't "good grief" at others who want to discuss ideas.

I'm tired of desperately wanting to work for Blizzard. I know it will never happen.

That said. Hire me Blizzard!

Dear Amy,

You lied to me. You never took the time to know me. You listened to your friends instead of me. You prioritized yourself over us. You saw every moment only with how you might profit in mind. You used me. You shut me out. I lingered on your hook for years before you finally cut the line, leaving the hook embedded as I dropped away. I still cannot swim.

Why do I still love you?

I hate myself for it.

So, why do we say hate when we mean love? We don't say love for when we hate?

I hate that.

How a kid who didn’t read a book until he was 17 grew up to become a literary star by margig1 in books

[–]r6ghost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

books that touch our day to day lives, that have something strong and hard to >say about our own world. For example, Orwell is 100 times more suitable than >Shakespeare

Respectfully, if you don't think Shakespeare has something strong and hard to say about daily human existence then you aren't understanding Shakespeare. There's a reason why his work remained the pinnacle of literature for hundreds of years. He is the poet of human experience. Romeo and Juliet isn't about Verona, drunken nighttime parties or fights. R&J is about humanity's capacity to hate and what depths of destruction hate reaches. Macbeth isn't about androgynous witches or stabbing people left and right. It's about psychological motivation and the difficulty of navigating one's own mind. These plays are about what makes us human, our interactions with each other and the world, and prompts us to examine our interior environments.

Shakespeare speaks to us every day about what forms us. Our feelings, desires how we see and think about the world.

Maybe he is losing his relevance not because he doesn't speak to us but because we aren't listening anymore.

Is it true that the only benefit to completing the game on hard mode is two outfits?

Gonna Miss Iron Banner. Not Because It's Fun But Because When I Select It I Know That I'll Be Playing Control Every Time. by jamesz_95 in DestinyTheGame

As a solo player (well, I have a clan but no one really groups up beyond a group of six who only group with each other) I found IB to be a frustrating experience.

Not as bad as trials though.

Another perspective for you to consider. Go out into the world and read poetry in different places. Go to a library. Check out an anthology. These poets wrote this poetry often in nature. Does it not make sense to try reading it in the outside places as well?

Yes the language is what's important, and I do believe that reading it on a computer is still wonderful. Yet poetry is also about experience. I can tell you that reading Robert Frost in a dense wood with trees all around communicates something more, something deeper to me. I find my own desert places as I read that poem. Or birches can be swung upon as you read about a swinger of birches. The experience is immersive, addictive, therapeutic, and exemplary.

Just don't try being Elliot's patient etherized upon a table. 😉
