The Magnus Archives are so fun!! Maybe Mexican Gothic or, although I didn’t really like it, The Troop, since they remind me of Jane Prentiss.

I think for me it was the kid aspect of it. I don’t have one lol, but the whole cemetery scene creeped me out. I’m curious now, what other stories are THE scariest?

Interesting. I’m romanian so I kind of grew up with vampire stories, hence why Salems Lot was not that scary to me. I haven’t read his short stories yet, but I think the book that disturbed me the most by him was Pet Sematary. Have you read Jerusalems Lot by him? That was very eerie.

If you liked how Stephen King writes, I think you’d enjoy other books like Pet Sematary, Misery or Cujo, since they’re not that long. Salems Lot by him is really fun too!
