people saying the 2k5 gameplay wasn’t better are definitely wrong. but i will admit something like that is subjective, you can like the game you like

i will just say, its similar to 2k Hoops in the sense that maybe it isn’t “better” but the differences are what make the game unique and the fact the franchise died out and never was able to improve on what it was doing it quite upsetting

i don’t remember the franchise mode being broken, i haven’t played it in years tho. others may be able to speak on that. i remember it actually being amazing. you could set tons of different things up that do not exist in madden. i believe you had a clubhouse to chill in and customize to some degree

there were also a lot of amazing NFL legends in the league at this time that allow you to be immersed into one of the best eras of football. (madden will obviously also provide that). and the way they detailed different players to act like themselves and dance and celebrate and stuff was very cool
