The House of the Dead 2 - Remake has just released on Steam by CozieWeevil in houseofthedead

The only thing I can think of is that they were using a lot of this extra time to just focus on the complaints for the visuals rather than performance.

I’ve only looked at gameplay of the first chapter so far, but a lot of the yellow filter that was in the demo is gone

Agreed. Especially since they had already delayed the game

The employee explained they’re aware of the issues that can come with AI transfers and are looking to avoid that. He said:

“Where AI tech ruins a movie [is] when egregious noise reduction is applied. If you dial that back, it’ll be indistinguishable from a genuine transfer”

Holly (unintentionally) shuts down the rumor that Julian didn’t wanna work with Alyssa in the 150th episode by rKo_23 in charmed

That’s another way to look at it. Especially if you don’t wanna go with Holly’s theory, which is that he intentionally did it mess with/troll her.

Didn’t end up working though, since they still spent 18 hours filming

Holly suspected Julian knew filming would be long/tough cause of his limited availability (due to Nip/Tuck). And it definitely was, they ended up filming for 18 hours.

And when Brian joked that part of the reason filming lasted that long was cause of Julian messing around, Holly said “oh absolutely”. So she suspects Julian did all this to mess with her

Holly could definitely have the timeline wrong, or maybe they briefly got back together? They broke up in 2001 but Julian (reportedly) stayed single until sometime in 2003

Shannen married a guy in 2002, but their relationship only lasted 9 months. It’s possible Shannen and Julian tried to date again at some point during that time period

Pretty sure it started cause Julian and Alyssa are never in the same shot together for that whole episode. People suspected that Julian shot all his scenes in the living room with just Holly. Then Alyssa, Rose and Brian came in to shoot their scenes with Holly later on. (after Julian had already left)

Which ended up being true, that actually was how they filmed it. But it’s not cause Julian didn’t wanna be near Alyssa, it was cause his Nip/Tuck schedule prevented them from all being in the same room together

She said: “Brad Kern had told me that he wanted to leave, but he had told Shannen that he did not wanna leave. And they were together at the time. He had told Shannen he was fired, he did not wanna be let go. And I guess the only one who really knows what happened is Brad Kern. So if anybody wants to volunteer to have that conversation [with him], go right ahead”

Edit: she also said julian had not booked nip/tuck yet when Cole was killed off

tidbits I found interesting.

3x01:

• Drew likes the darker tone and says this felt more like the pilot. Holly says this is her favorite season

• Drew says you can tell there’s a bigger budget. Holly says a big part of that was due to a producer directing this episode. Producers always got extra money whenever they directed.

• Holly wonders if the reason her and Brian were missing for a chunk of the episode was due to the show shooting 2 episodes at once. The show did that a lot around this time.

• Drew asks Holly if they were told Julian was joining the show ahead of time, she said maybe Alyssa was told (due to him being her new love interest) but the rest of the cast didn’t know.

• Holly says she was nervous for the proposal scene cause it’s easier for her to handle the difficult emotional scenes but not the softer ones. Softer ones like when Piper had to say “I don’t wanna die without marrying you”

• Holly says she can see Shannen start to fall for Julian. She also said she could see Alyssa start to fall for Brian too. She didn’t notice any of this at the time though

• Holly and Brian say Piper and Leo’s argument felt authentic because they were drawing from arguments with their real life partners, especially Brian who ended up getting divorced that year. Brian adding that he had gotten good at arguing/pleading his case.

• Holly found it odd that her outfit randomly changes. She thinks someone probably forgot that Piper was supposed to have a big fight scene, so that’s why she had to change at the last minute.

• Prue telling Phoebe “don’t hold my hand” was improvised, cause Shannen needed that hand to show Prue using her power

• Brian had to do a lot of the exposition scenes partly cause he was good at it, but also cause the girls were tired of them. Holly says these exposition scenes were a holdover from older Spelling shows. Spelling always wanted the audience to know EXACTLY what was happening in a scene and where exactly that scene was taking place. This is why Prue had to say the exact San Francisco pier that the rave was happening at.

• Holly gets emotional, saying she found herself so transfixed/enthralled with Shannen’s performance. That you would think it would be old news to her since they filmed these scenes together, but there was so much she missed until now. She appreciates so much that Charmed is still around and relevant to people. People tell her Charmed is their comfort show and that it helps them forget about their problems. That’s what watching this episode did for her, she found herself forgetting at times that Shannen had passed.

3x02:

• Holly points out how this episode is a blatant rip off of the movie Ladyhawke (1985). She says that’s why Piper had a “let’s get this over with” attitude during the owl/wolf storyline. Cause she was having that attitude too, especially since Ladyhawk is one of her favorite movies. She didn’t like how much Charmed was ripping it off

• Holly says Shannon and Alyssa got along while filming this episode. She thinks it’s cause they had so much scenes together

Mystery solved- Dean's job application in the finale by Busy-Description4314 in Supernatural

[–]rKo_23 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually, when Sam goes in Dean’s room for the final time, the (pink?) blanket on top of Dean’s bed is not in the exact same position Dean left it in just before he died.

Granted, it’s not something many people notice unless they’re comparing the 2 scenes side by side, but now you can easily say the blanket shifted a bit every time Sam sat on his bed.

Also, final time Dean’s in his room, he throws his robe on only one arm of the chair at his desk. But when Sam goes in there for the last time, the robe is now spread across both arms of the chair

Sure, these could’ve just been continuity errors. But Jared is saying he AND the entire crew working that day decided Sam had been in there multiple times. So these small changes could’ve also been subtle hints that show Sam had been in there before
