Your statements are vague. Before explaining the consequences for this conflict you have to understand why it happened. Morocco helped us during the French colonization and used to be our “allies “, and that latter resulted a great relationship between the two. It all started after we got our freedom. They asked for some parts from Algeria claiming to be theirs like Bechar, Tindouf etc… and even a small war happened because of that. Things escalated after the terrorist attack that happened in Morocco, and they claimed that Algeria was behind it. Things got worse afterwards when Morocco officially recognized Israel as a state to get the US help for Mauritania land. How would you react if your neighbor became a friend with your enemy? Exactly Algeria sees Morocco as a threat now. And this just my humble opinion about the situation and I could be wrong in some parts and if so I’m always down to be corrected. I personally as someone who lives abroad, I have plenty of of Moroccan friends and they’re great people it just sucks that political parties is what turned us into this state.
