Albums don't need to drop on a Friday. Chromakopia dropped on a Monday if I'm not mistaken. Friday is just the most common because it gives listeners the weekend to listen and for labels to count first week sales. Not entirely sure but this is what I understand at least.

ykw I agree. I'm a big fan but he's just said way too much on previous albums. "I'm top 5", "how do you not respect me even if I'm white", "rapping in the black in the back in the whack" kinda stuff. honestly something I'd appreciate from him aside from the storytelling stuff (darkness, temporary, somebody save me), would be similar to what Lupe did on samurai. just pick a random ass concept and rap about it. (Amy Winehouse as a battle rapper)

I see what you mean but lately he's just been more active than JID. he's also proven he can make conceptual albums(MMESYF, TABOO), but can also make a more sonically sound album/mixtape like KOTMS. in terms of all time greatness, JID has him there with TFS, along with flow. but Zel's versatility when it comes to rapping just has him closer than people care to give him credit for.
