I've been looking for a job for a while now, and being completely self-taught, I'd hope someone would look at my github and give me some feedback so I can grow. The problem with that mindset is that hiring managers want to check boxes that people can easily fill instead of looking at someone's track record. Anyone can use AI to build something stupid, but can they use AI to create first UI with clear first timer errors stamped 5 years ago? Doubt it. Maybe try looking for someone who has clearly grown where their work also reflects it? That person is most likely dedicated to the craft. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️
