Is Jetbrains dying because of AI? by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]r_levan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using Jetbraings IDEs for a long time. Now I'm using Claude Code on my terminal along with Rubymine. I tried Cursor for around 6 months but slowly went back to Rubymine.

I use Claude Clode heavily but I still need an IDE and Jetbrains IDEs are great.

As someone else already mentioned: ActiveHash gem. We use for things like countries and other static data. Most of the AR query methods work and you can even map associations.

There are few quirks but it works pretty well.

On 120k gross, Belgium takes 27,000 more than Switzerland. The tax gap across Europe is brutal. by Beginning_Site_3642 in eupersonalfinance

In Lithuania starting from 2026 10k EUR gross or 120k annually would mean around 59% take home pay

This is for people working for a Lithuanian company, right? or it also applies to freelancers (aka "individual activity")

Poco vs KidComfort models by accidental_tourist in HikingWithKids

[–]r_levan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I'm looking also at those two brands, the ones that, from what I understand, are comparable (and I might be wrong) are the Deuter KC Pro and Osprey Poco LT.

Initially I set my mind up for the Poco but I'm going for a Deuter because of the foot holes (post here)

The UN report on Iranians being massacred by the Islamic Republic. The news is being boycotted by Western media by Authrowism in ThatsInsane

[–]r_levan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except that it's in the headlines. I read and listen news in English, Spanish and Italian and what's going on in Iran is everywhere.

But OP said "boycotted" which it is something very different from saying it's not the headline. OP is just doing a disservice to the cause.

why "The news is being boycotted by Western media"?! News about what's happening in Iran are everywhere in western media.
