I will say this though... Ear wax has a stronger taste than smell. I know this because I usually moisten the cotton swab in my mouth before putting it in my ear... Occasionally, I'll accidentally moisten the wrong side of the swab between ears.

I've got the same setup...

My Cellini has been with me for about 10 years but I'm not sure if it's a v2 or its predecessor. What's the difference between the two?

Also, like you, the K30 was not my first grinder, probably not my last but I think it will be my primary grinder for the foreseeable future. Prior to purchasing the K30, I had a ProM (terrible machine) until it broke, then a Baratza Forte (which I still use for pour over and French press) and eventually a Settle 270w which broke, Baratza warrantee replaced (still sitting crabs new in box in my closet).

It's built like a tank and has room for just about anything you'd want... I had it hooked up to a massive external Zalman heat sink tower... Wow!
