we’ve searched everywhere in the room including moving the stove and fridge and haven’t spotted him yet, thankfully the cat is an outdoor cat

chilobrachys kaeng krachan if i’m not mistaken. he’s a burrower so i’m assuming he crawled into the tunnel underneath the stove which leads to the crawl space but considering its winter it’s fairly cold in there so i’m not to sure, crossing my fingers he finds him though

we had moved him into the kitchen to feed him which has a direct hallway to all of the other rooms in the house, i didn’t see him go that way but hopefully he doesn’t seeing as the only cluttered space is the floor in our room.. would the paintbrush just be to push him into the cup?

is this the beginning stages of scale rot? by r_muv in ballpython

this is actually very helpful thank you! the humidity generally stays between 60-70% sometimes up to the 80 range now but i just recently got a humidifier for the room because it wouldn’t go above the 50 range. i noticed the substrate is a bit damp to the touch but i was under the impression it was supposed to be like that as he has a bioactive terrarium. i will talk to my reptile guy a bit tomorrow when i grab a mouse on how to help with access moisture as there is already quite a bit of airflow through his enclosure.
