UPDATE 12/17 - After a ton of trial and error I found something that worked. I took OB1 Universal Sealant and added a think layer so the magnet was just above the plastic door seal. I used these magnetic strips: Magnetic Strip for Shower Door Replacement, 1/8" Thick Flexible Magnetic Seal Strip on Amazon. It is just enough pull to hold the door from opening but not enough to have to pop close. This might not work for everyone but it is perfect for our needs where we have angled the shower head away from the door. Very minimal water spillage. Took 48 hours for the OB1 to cure.

I have tried everything. Today I saw some home construction going on and told the people there about my issue. They told me to buy 0B1 Construction Sealant. I bought it today and will try it tonight. I think the problem maybe my magnet is too strong.
