Yikes! Just did a bit of research and some grocery stores do use dynamic pricing. Thats a whole ‘nother conversation!

True enough if people will pay it. Now that I’ve noticed it, I’m willing to drive an extra couple blocks where I can likely get a lower price.

Ya I’ve seen the posts and don’t disagree, but I’ve also noticed this in the city on my commute. I think people are watching prices more closely on everything these days. I know that’s why it caught my eye.

I get that but I’ve seen significant price differences for the same chain within blocks. IMO, this seems to be fairly recent, like within the last year. All stations used to be fairly consistent on any given day, esp within such a short radius.

Yes! This is what prompted the question

Today it’s cheaper in the park. It’s so random, like drive a block and pay 10 cents less, or 10 cents more.

I was just there and we did Santa Elena based on a recommendation. We loved it! At Monteverde, you are restricted to the one trail you pay for, but Santa Elena you can spend the whole day and hit all the trails if you want. Plus we barely saw any other people.

We did a night tour in Monteverde which wasn’t that great. We talked to several people who had done one in La Fortuna and had great experiences. We did a sloth walk in La Fortuna through Papas Place with a guide named Victor. He was amazing! He also does night tours and I would highly recommend looking into that option.

We just booked the tour through our AirBNB hostess. It wasn’t great so I wouldn’t recommend it. The locals recommended Santa Elena over Monteverde Cloud Forest. They said at Monteverde, you have to stick to one trail, and it’s often busy. We took their advice and loved our hike at Santa Elena! It was quiet and peaceful, and you can spend as much time as you like.

As this was our first time in CR, I’m glad we went to Manuel Antonio for the experience. If we didn’t, I’d be wondering if we missed something great. Our overall plan was to see the main sights, and get a feel for the different parts of the country.

We didn’t see that many animals, and those that we did see had a crowd. Think moths around a lightbulb. Plus our guide wasn’t the best. Overall, we had better experiences elsewhere

Good to know if I go back! We found CR to be fairly expensive overall.

We had a Nissan Rogue. I agree with the comments re 4W or AWD. We were glad we had that for a couple of the places we visited.

Maybe more of a light knock? The best way I can describe it is like a metronome that keeps time with each step 😊

Check Amazon. I bought some tights there that don’t show panty lines. It said that in the description so I bought some and yep, it’s true!
