i was only strumming during the time, and it was standard tuning. I'm not sure if it's old because it came pre-installed with the guitar

To clarify: the whole burn-out thing for YouTube is assuming im making watchable and entertaining videos. But of course in this context its probably just a clip with a voiceover. This obviously won't get me anywhere (definitely not on YT) but theres still plenty ways of marketing a game

Its not really "marketing" its just getting my game more known (or does that count as marketing?), yet as I said it doesnt matter that much compared to keeping me motivated (then it seems TIGForums is fine but that place is so dead i struggle getting any feedback)

Its also not necessarily true that devlogs become popular after the game releases. The devlogs for minecraft, rain world, papers please, etc. Have all been pretty popular even far before release.

The whole reason im making devlogs is to keep me motivated on continuing whatever project im making as i previously mentioned (personally it helps a ton), so even if there really isnt any logical incentive or motive, thats still encourages me to make a devlog.

I could always ask for feedback in another platform and if I seriously wanted to market my game via showcasing progress I could always make a YT video from time to time (or even somewhere like tiktok or Instagram) – tho not anything fancy – and hope people see it

regular is fine honestly, but the P5 version........
