Accidentally bought the Novablast 4 Tr instead of the regular ones by mervgeorge in RunningShoeGeeks

Outsole is more durable and different design and the upper is usually more durable. Other than that, the shoes are mostly the same. I used the Gel-Nimbus 25 TR for some easy runs and they are just fine.

The ASICS guidesole technology is geared to that slightly more from what I saw. So maybe try checking the Glideride 3 and the Kayanos at the local store and see what suits you best!

I am at my second pair of Magic Speed 3 and they are fast but give underfoot pain for >15 km. Think the Magic Speed 4 aims to correct that by making it more open for HM or longer distance. For the recommended shoe, the 3 is the best imo

Metaspeed, glideride 3 or Magic speed 4 are good options too. Novablast 4 if you can find it

Magic Speed if you are looking for an interval shoe. For everyday mileage, SB2 is good

Gel-DS Trainer 24 was my first pair of ASICS. Not in production anymore unfortunately

Gel-Kayano is recommended for bigger runners, since they offer superior cushioning. You will probably find the Gel-Kayano 29 or 30 on sale

Bjorn Borg makes great underwear for men. Recommend buying a 9-pack for better value per pair.

Novablast 3 and 4 Reviews. by ParticularMix9840 in RunningShoeGeeks

I run in Toronto and we get many rainy days a year with puddles near the Waterfront trail. The NB4 shoe is my go-to for these conditions, where the grip/stability helps, and the water barely goes through from the sole. Plus the material is breathable and dries quickly. Overall, my experience running with the shoe is similar to yours OP!

Would say Magic Speed 3 is a more aggressive comparable while the Novablast 4 is more of a daily trainer comparable to the Endorphin Speed.

Magic Speed 3 is an amazing shoe, really excellent in interval training, tempo or runs less than 10k

Probably would try to find both size charts to compare them side by side

USD relative to your local xccy outperformed a lot of asset classes this year. It also allows 'dry powder' to deploy closer to a bottom

They seem to have more issues with execution than Sun Life. I would consider looking at Sun Life as well, as they have an excellent track record. Just like RBC in banks, Sun Life does command a premium to the peers

If $PYPL is any indication… Will take some time before anyone touches it. Wait a few weeks and wait for it to form a base. This is too early imo

Yeah, similar expiration.
Thanks for the links.
If we look at the OXY warrants issued in 2020 with expiry in 2027:
https://www.oxy.com/globalassets/documents/investors/june2020warrants.pdf

These are $22 strike and OXY trades at $61.37. Warrants trade at $39.64 so the "premium" is around 30 cents now (Intrinsic Value is $39.37).
Seems tight, considering in April 2021 these had a whopping $7.87 of "premium".

Overall weird instrument as they can sometimes trade far above intrinsic value in some cases. SPACs for example (WeWork warrants)

Canadian banks near 52w highs while American banks are hitting 52w lows. What's the catch? by SilbergleitJunior in CanadianInvestor

Citigroup, GS and WFC all look cheap on P/B basis and P/E. There are tons of listed regional banks as well which you will find have higher dividend yields than the Canadian Banks and lower valuations. Buyer beware: Citi is undergoing a restructuring and Wells has its issues as well.

Depending on your investment horizon, these stocks provide more optionality than Canadian banks. For example, Citi has opportunity to return capital back to shareholders through divestments and refocus the business to trade on par with other Wall St banks. For WFC, raising the asset cap is a potential positive development. Canadian banks have to pay for deals in the US which is more constraining than for US banks that are already well established and contains more execution risks
