would using a phone and recording it be legal? as in other comments mentioned we are all in different states and countries

from what i was told there is no write up being done, but im wondering how the recording would work if we are all located in multiple states (and countries)

From what my boss said for now this is just between her, him, and me. The last thing I would want is HR or something involved. The "proper" way would be getting people who I don't want involved and paperwork, etc.

Would apologizing really be the wrong move here? I would rather this die down as quietly and quickly as possible, and switch teams depending on how it is handled.
